These bandits try to collect money that isn't legally due because it's past the statute of limitations. In my viewpoint this should be illegal, and this boiler room operation needs to be shut down by the authorities for basically preying on the naive and vulnerable in our society.

This place robo calls us every day! Plus they ask for a person/name we don't know.

They call 3 times a day on the caller Id it says "In Use" for the name followed by the phone number. I dont owe anyone. i answered once and was hung up on..

wrong number... this one is from "3" 98 not "7"98.... so this man you listed has nothing
to do with the collection agency... at least look up relevant information if your going to
attempt to help by adding information to a blog.

1-703-398-0842  is assetacceptance , A DEBT COLLECTOR. they have an auto caller
which was calling an elderly relative of mine everyday... interrupting their sleep in early
morning hours. the recording was for a name that had same first name initial as a name
in our family. we have our number listed with initial and last name.. they just auto picked
anyone with the same letter i guess and set us up for calls. I dont agree with it either.
Especially since we are not in debt, shouldnt be bothered by a recording you cannot respond
to after listening for quite a while...
but i do have to say that it was easy to take care of:
i called the number back .... a person answered. I explained that the name they were asking
for on their auto caller was not associated with this family.. that we had a relative with the same
initials and the phone is listed with that initial.. i told them we have elderly and ill people in same home needing rest that are being disturbed every day by this auto caller... and asked if they could please
remove their number from their calling list.. gave them area code and entire number.. and they were very nice and said no problem and took care of it.
HONEY GETS YOU FARTHER THAN VINEGAR...
just be confident and slow and very nice.. and explain that you have nothing to do with whomever
they are calling about and that you have totally different names but need to be taken off their list.
Most will just remove you.
But they sure dont ask you to find out if it is the right phone number or even a relative or anything
before they attach to your number...  
supposedly there is supposed to be some "do not call list" that you could put your number in.. and it helped in the past..  is that not working anymore? It came along with a set of rules they had to adhere about calling times .. they cant sell you anything unless you had dealings with them before... solicitors... i dont know about debt collectors and where they fall into the rules... they take us off
when we get on weird lists for people we have never heard of.

just telling you about my experience... we will see if it stays off the list... lol

They tell us to hang up if this call isn't received by the person named.  Hung up a lot of times and they call again and again.  No one here by the name they give.
