I have no idea who this person was calling my number and asking for me by my first name.  Caller ID  said unknown.  The caller refused to id self before I confirm my personal information.  I requested a response to "who are you" and was told I will call back when your more cooperative.  Guess what I can not cooperated with a stranger and a rude stranger no less.  Last question any body know who is using this number?

Just annoying. I believe every time we get a new phone number through our provider they give out our main # to telemarkers and or scammers. and these bothersome calls start.

I have just started getting calls from a foreigner at this number saying it is a personal matter.  He knows my legal first name and asks if I still receive mail at an address I do not recognize.  He then attempts to transfer the call but says it won't transfer and attempts to give me a number so that I will call them.  He refuses to tell me what it is regarding but insists it is a personal business matter.  Never verify or give out personal information unless you know the company and recognize doing business with them.  This is obviously a scam.

phone is a business number.....not even my business, belongs to my friends husband and I am blessed to have one of thier many cells. This number is rude and calls several times a day....calls cannot be for me, since phone is not connected to my name in anyway. I do not give it out. Please if you know who they are let someone know...It needs to stop!!!

Got a call very early from this number yet again but apparently the person on the other end has lost the ability to speak.  i will now let it to to the machine and see if this number is brave enough to speak to it.  Very annoying and apparently the request to stop calling fall on deaf ears.

I was on the phone when this number beeped in .. by the time I clicked over to answer the call I said Hello .. nothing ... after the 2nd Hello I got a voice recording saying to "please hold the line , I have a call for this number" .. then almost immediately it said "sorry to keep you waiting , I'm still trying to connect" ... I hung up.   Caller I.D. came up IC System.

Someone called me from this number and wanted me to confirm personal information but would not give any information on what she was calling about, and when I would not confirm she said we can try back at another time

We get this cALL 2 TO 3 TIMES A DAY EVERY DAY - NO EVER RESPONDS WHEN WE PICK UP

I get a call from this number 2 to 3 times a day never answered it, I always let it to the machine and they are not willing to leave a message.

Debt collection company.

Caller ID says Alex Schriver.  I do not answer!

The company will not give any information until you tell them who you are and where you live.  Who gives out personal information just because someone calls.  I just had a woman hang up on me and then a very rude man when I spoke with them again.  I told them not to call me again and I will be making note that I have expressed no more phone calls.  He said they they will contact me in other ways until they get their information. I don't know if that was some sort of threat.   I have no idea what information because they never tell you any information.

Keep getting calls from this number ever since I switched to a new number thru comcast. i never pick up. 411.com says it is a VOIP from Woodbridge VA

I am on the do not call list but that does not stop this freak from calling every day.

They are most likely calling you about something in collections against you.  

I don't suppose they could be calling because they have the wrong phone number, the wrong name of the person they are calling, the debt doesn't really exist, they want to scare the people into paying a debt that never existed except in make believe land, or the myriad other reasons there are complaints on this board about debt collectors?  Yeah you're right, it has be because someone didn't pay a bill and owes money.  After all bill collectors are both infallible and excruciatingly honest right?

What i really find interesting is the BBB report.  On the company web site they say they received an ethics award, but there is no mention of it on the BBB site.  In addition, I am trying to figure out how you get an A+ rating with 796 complaints in the last 3 years which included 190 in the last 12 months.  Guess they must be paying a ton of money to the BBB.

Wow! Couldn't believe how rude this guy was to me on the phone. He kept asking me to verify personal information and when I refused and said what is this in regard to, he said I should have listened to him the first time. What? You telling me your first name and that this is a business matter, doesn't warrant me giving out all my personal info to a complete stranger. I always pay my bills, I couldn't believe this guy would rather anger me to the point of hanging up instead of being civil. I have never experienced anything like this before. Don't bother answering! I'm done with harassing phone calls! Send it to me in writing!

No they are calling in regard to a fictitious debt, they are not a valid company and are using overseas lines and routing to get personal information. Identity thieves, debt collectors in the US have to identify themselves as such and say that this call is an attempt to collect a debt and may be recorded, it's the law.
