Caller ID said, Debt Collector. Did not answer and no message. Other sites report that it is Portfolio Recovery. They started calling me several weeks ago looking for someone I don't know.  When I do answer I let them know I am not the person they are looking for. They still call.

I didn't answer and they left no message, probably scammer (Portfolio Recovery) scumbag!

They call day and night from multiple numbers in multiple states for my ex whom Ive been divorced from for 8 years and haven't seen in 7 years. Try to tell em I know nothing about him anymore and they still call. DAILY. FOR YEARS NOW!! They care more about making a contact for their daily goal numbers than they do getting the right person. Seriously, block the number. There's nothing you can tell them that will make the calls stop.

"There's nothing you can tell them that will make the calls stop."  That is so untrue since there are a lot of things you could tell them to make the calls stop. For instance you could send them a "not me" letter or a cease and desist calling letter. Should be sent certified, return receipt mail. Debt collector, attempting to collect on a bill i do not owe. Put it in block list.

No message left. No idea why they're calling my. I owe no money to anû. My employer buys my knackis.

Called me on a Sunday. Ridiculous. Debt collectors have no freaking life!

They call but all my stuff is out of statue of limitations. I just decline there calls.

Called stating she was with DirecTV wanting me to verify my social and my DOB.  about a personal matter....I said why are you calling me?  Is there a problem with my DTV account?  Ma'am, its about a personal matter.  I said, I am not giving you this information. IF you are DTV you will have it...I hung up and called DTV.  They stated they had no issues with my account and these people were attempting to scam me.  Portfolio Recovery is the name of the company.  I then called PR back and advised them I was filing charges with the AG in Texas because they clearly stated they were with DirecTV. And that I was current and I had notified DTV about their number and their use of their name.  She tried to tell me "we never say who we are collecting for" and I stated, really? then how did I know who to call to verify they were scamming me?  She said, Well, we aren't supposed to...I hung up, tired of their lies.  PR is a scam.  They try to get old accounts that have already been past the 7 years and try to collect them...what a joke...and sadly?  people fall for it...but it doesn't clear up their credit reports...JS

I searched this number on Google and found this website. I see other people are being harassed by this as well. They never leave a voicemail when they called me either.

These morons are trying to collect on a debt that is not only past the Statute of limitations, but one that i received a form for last year and had to add it to my income when i filed my taxes last year!! Talk about scammers!

Call every day, including weekends and early in morning and late at night.
