Well the "You are being sued by the IRS" scammers are back at under a new number. Heavily accented woman called, looking for no one specifically,  saying I need to call their hotline(a 703 number) and should not ignore because I will be prosecuted.  She closed with "have a blessed day!" LOL!!! Nice.

Just got the same call today!  Know that if you have an IRS issue--they will contact you, not a second party.

I just got a call from this number claiming IRS has a lawsuit against me and I will be arrested within 72 hours from my place of business or home. This really freaked me out. Is it a scam?

Mother just got a call from them. Same accented woman saying it's a serious issue, that the IRS has filed a lawsuit. If it was real, they would have identified her by name.

Like the other posts, I received a call from a heavily accented lady with incorrect grammar who claimed to represent the IRS.  She stated that I must call back or risk being arrested as the IRS has filed a lawsuit against me.

Most likely a scam, a fraudulent activity. I just got a voice message from that number 1 hour ago. The IRS NEVER calls. No to worry about this

Same call today. Seem Michael Black (with the heaviest Indian accent) needed to speak to us as a case was being presented in court in 45 minutes. Asked for the IRS supervisor, he placed us on hold and came back with his version of a different accent...

He even said he is with the IRS

IRS never will call they will notified by letter.  That's what they told me.
