Calls repeatedly but leaves no message

irritating early in the morning calls but does not leave a message no one answers when call is answered

Received several calls while on vacation. Never left message. Called back this morning and immediately was connected to a "please hold for the next available representative - your call is very important to us." Rep got on, I asked what company I called and she would only say "We're Encore, a financial services company."

Has been repeatedly calling about every 30 minutes or so and will not leave a message.  Very annoying!!

they same as everyone on here. calls and doesn't respond, no matter whats said. weather we pick up or let it go to the answering machine

Keep getting calls from this number, never leaves a message, and no one on the other end when I answer.  This morning I finally was able to speak to someone, but she said she needed to talk to my wife.  I said she was not in, can I help you?  No, it's a personal matter, and federal law states that she can only talk to my wife.  If it's a financial matter, I have a right to know what is going on.  All she would tell me is that they are a "financial institution".  Very annoying.

This number calls daily.  I ahve asked my cell company to help me block it, but no go. It is very annoying!

These people are WACKED!! They do NOT have updated info and call me several times a day with no message if I am not home and a recording if I do pick up..the few times I spoke to them they are calling about a debt I am paying on with the merchant....TERRIBLE COMPANY!! I think its a scam!!

same here I have told them about 5 times not not to call anymore. I am about to report them to the athorities. The FDCPA states they can not call the consumer at any time the consumer believes is inconvenient and it also states Harassment is anything the CONSUMER feels is harassment. This sure looks like harassment not onl;y to be but to everyone here.

They have called my CELL PHONE at all hours of the day--I mean here it is, a Sunday at 8:45 p.m. and they called my phone!! Who is this company?? Does anyone know how to stop the calls without changing my number?

Calls every 25-30 mins, no message, no nothing very annoying.

calls 5-8 times a day---no onew there.  I don't answer anymore--just ignore it.

Several calls a day, from this number and a few others.  next time pick up and say "trap, and the time" and hang up.

How can we stop this fraud company calling you and tried to get your financial information? My gf got several calls from them. I called T-Mobile and addressed our concern, the rep said "Not thing we can do". We are very upset. We registered "Do not call list" and this fraud company still our cell phone number (We don't know how).

calls several times a day.  I typically don't answer calls or call back, unless whoever is calling leaves a message.  My wife answered once and asked whom they wanted.  The man said a name we didn't even recognize, so she said it was the wrong number.  The calls stopped for one day, now back to normal.  It's 7:30pm now, and I've gotten seven calls from them today.

Same as the rest of you, only they are calling my cell phone.  I ahve reported them to the DNC registry - if that does any good.  Since this has just started, I imagine it has only jsut begun for me. I alson don't intend to answer or call them back.
