I received a message from Arpana at a recruiting company named LanceSoft in Herndon, VA.

    I received a call from tis number I reference to an IT position in New Orleans. It appears to be a staffing company.

They appear to be a headhunter. Here is my opinion. If you post a resume to a search engine, linkedin, etc, they have some kind of screening software that picks up key words, even if their keyword is 180 degrees from your career path or job history. So I think some kind of list must get generated which auto generates Emails sending you jobs you have no background doing and it must create a phone list for the meatgrinders to call. If you are not an IT type person, just ignore the call. If you are looking for full time work, they seem to be a temp kind of agency

This is a Carahsoft #, well known call center / bullpen telemarketing for IT services, they will say they are anyone, anybody, HP, Microsoft, F5 (even if just loosely affiliated) to get their foot in your company door.  Trust me I have dealt with SPAM calls and cold calling for over 10 years.  Just ignore, and in a new development, I CAN BLOCK these!  Love ZOOM Phone!
