Davidson, NC call; I live in California. Rang once. Did not call it back.

Didn't leave a voicemail.

One ring and then hung up. It shows up as Davidson, NC in my call history. My cell phone has been on the Do Not Call list since 2008.  I filed a complaint with the FTC at https://www.donotcall.gov/

Called a phone that has not been used for communicating with anyone other than family.  Rang once, no message.  Thought it was a wrong number, but given the entries on this website, I now know otherwise.  So I have blocked them via Verizon's call block service.

BBB warns consumers to use extreme caution and refrain from providing personal information including debit or credit card information to unknown or unverifiable parties.

rang once on my California cell phone

My mobile phone (in Massachusetts) rang and I tried to answer immediately (was already in my hand) but they hung up before I could answer.   Given the other reports here and how quickly they hung up on me, seems to be deliberate hang-up call.    How rude!
