They are still in the same business-scam so far, similar phone number, similar address in NC, shipping to Nuuk Greenland.  Email we received is like a copy and paste of what I have read here.  Our suspicion was the freight amount to pay. We are glad we found this page

We just had the same guy, same address asking us to call his freight company to make arrangements for a sizeable order.  Beware!

Hi! we just sold a large amount to this guy. If they already paid us. How the scam works?
The freight company is called Royal Freight USA. The website doesn't exist. If we paid the Royal Freight USA company to a personal account. How does it works the scam? Where we lose?

How did they pay.  Because if they sent a check it will bounce.  If they paid by credit card the number was probably stolen and will be reversed.  They gave some excuse for you to send the money to the freight company, and you paid them through untraceable means no doubt (like Western Union).  This a well known business scam here at 800notes.  You are out whatever money you sent to the freight company.

We manually charge "his" credit card. The amount was reversed. We lost money transferring money to the SCAM freight company called Royal Freights USA. The credit card was reversed, so we lost the money deposited to that freight company. :(

Got an email in our general company inbox very similar to a lot of these. When we replied, we were sent the info for freight company to use (see second part of below). Something seemed off so we researched and saw the info for the scam.

The scam from Matthew Freeman asked to deposit money to the fake transport company Royal Freights Services. The account was

Received exact email request!  Ship to Greenland... freight company pickup... wanted to use CC for payment!
Used same name FREEMAN .......   with  Charlotte address...  action occurred 1-7-17 initial contact...  Thank you for posting warning.... I'm glad I got suspicious and checked!!

I got scammed out of 11K. I ran his card and went thru. My credit card processing company closed my account and told me it was because of the industry I was in. So I thought it was legit. He used USA Express shipping. Now I'm going to lose my business.

He references Charlotte as his home in many of these examples as well. Nigerian accent and told me he was from Greenland... POS!

i just got the same scam email from these fools and did a quick search and found this site to report them to Help anyone else out....I ship overseas so this wasnt a Red Flag at first,  This was the second email after i gave them a price quote.

I just received the same email from "Matthew Charlton." I received a request to purchase some of the products we offer and after some back and forth emails I was ready to ship them. I did a Google search of the company only to find out that this was a common scam that has been going on for a while now.  Looks like they made a seemingly legitimate website at http://usroyalfreight.com but the language and site design is pretty poor and now that I was suspicious it was obviously not a real shipping company.

I have received a similar email this morning from "Matthew Charlton", wanting to place a "large order" of "BOAT KITS". I was suspicious from the start because boat kits are cut to order, not likely to be sold in bulk. Also, the "BOAT KITS" in capitals in both emails made me think that the term was lifted out of Google or similar rather than a visit to my website.

I expressed my doubts about the chances of success with stocking in a retail outlet. The reply confirmed that they wanted to order 5 kits but did not specify which design. Costs per kit vary from US$175 to more than $14,000, depending on choice, so he clearly hadn't even looked at the specifics of what we have available. He asked for cost for 5 kits, without shipping. I suspected this to be a scam so did a web search for info. This site came up, confirming my suspicions.

The address given in his email is a private house. A search doesn't list Matthew Charlton as an occupant. The only person by that name that comes up is on Linked-In, with no posts and no information aside from a photo of a man with two kids. If it is the same guy then it is likely not even him in the photo. No person by that name comes up in North Carolina when searching publicrecordsreviews.com.
