This company is actually Four Star Resolution, LLC (filed with New York State as 4 Star Resolution, LLC). They always call themselves F.S. (fill in the blank - Mediation, Legal, etc.). They are collecting on PayDay loans that were issued in New York and Maryland where they are illegal. Report them to the FTC, the CFPB and the New York Attorney General. Save the letters they send with a Canadian return address, they are an FDCPA violation by themselves (keep the envelope they are mailed with a Syracuse NY pre-sorted mail permit). A class action attorney could have a field day with a written threat of legal action on an illegally originated pay-day-loan.

They actually operate out of a boiler room at 1839 Seneca St., Buffalo, NY 14210.

File a complaint with the BBB that describes the company name and telephone number they are using currently if you receive a letter or a phone call. All of the names they use are totally fake and bogus: Frank White, Mark Johnson, John Ford, etc.

The company is actually owned by Travell Thomas. Travell likes to hide his location and doesn't come into the office much, but his mother Cynthia Thomas lives at 56 Fennimore Ave., Buffalo, NY 14215. You can give her a call at (716) 837-2858.

I just received a call from an "Edward Black" with FS Mediation Services stating that he was trying to collect a debt from a payday loan in 2005. When I told him that I thought it was crazy that I had never received anything on this debt he told me that he would email me proof and everything that he has.
He was trying to get me to pay $600 or I would be taken to court - he said that I would be charged with check fraud & would have to pay thousands more.
I was called from (206) 219-7039 - which is a local Seattle number, then he told me that he was located in buffalo NY... I thought this was very odd. Then he gave me the following number to call back (253) 239-5528 which is also a local area code. The address he gave me was 2400 Seneca Street Buffalo, NY 14220.
What's so scary to me is that this is the 3rd time that this has happened to me - they never send anything to show proof and they always have so much information on me. It has always been from different "companies" but always the same rugs to make me pay or I will face some dire consequence.

Brain May has called and threatened judgment against me and attempted to get money from my wife via her credit card. He first said it was for a Orchards Bank then stated it was from Capital One. He has left threatening voice mails on my phone and when I talked to him he was really defensive once I started to state Fair Collections Act rules.
