Gave them phony card number

Scammer. Text to my phone.   Looking to verify bank account info.   Notified my bank.

Rec text saying suspicious sign in on my Netflix acct and my acct is suspended.  False.

I have never ever banked at chase but this appears legit so dont click on link !!!!

You seem confused.
"...appears legit so dont click on link"?  Let me help you out. This is a texting scam and no one should be clicking on this sort of link.  
- You might have noticed the same number is being use for both banking scams and the current NetFlix scams. That is a bright red flag right there.

Same as others, they sent a text advising they had locked my Chase Bank debit card with a link to verify info. I do not have, nor have ever had a Chase debit card.

Same exact text on my cell, this must be a scam or identity theft .  Beware, don't open the link and delete the message.

Total SCAM.  They pretended to be from Fifth Third Bank, said they locked my account, and provided a link to click on.  I don't have an account with this bank.

Text~Citizens Bank: We have temporarily locked your account to prevent unauthorized transaction which was detected recently. Had link to verify identity.  Link took you to a website where you are not able to sign on but told to call.  All other links on website are 403 Errors. Definitely a scam.

got a text that said it was citizens bank temporarily locking my account (no idea if i even have one of their credit cards) to prevent unauthorized transaction they detected, then asks me to verify my identity by clicking a link.

Received a phone call on my landline.  Didn't answer - let the voice mail pick up.  Message was asking me to verify some Amazon order (that I didn't place) by pressing 1 for no or 2 for yes.  If yes, then Amazon would ship the order.  Obviously, this is BS.
