- nfinlargHung up on them as soon as they began to speak. Call came from the Houston TX area code but the person had the wierdest foreign accent I've ever heard. They said they were calling from FDS Home Services, and...click, and blocked.

- Call type: Telemarketer
- jjCalled and said they were from FBS or FDS Home Securtiy and they I was selected for a promotion. I started to ask questions on were they were located and they hung up. Potential scam.

- LisaJust received a call from this number on my cell phone. I never answer calls unless I know the number, figure they will leave me a voicemail if they know me. Just "googled" the number and found that it was a scam.
- AliThese people are a joke. I am from the Houston area, so I answered assuming it was someone from work or something. First it was a lady telling me I won a security system. I said no thank you and was immediately transferred to a man who told me the same thing. Trying to be stern yet polite, seeing as I am in the office, I said that I was not interested but thank you for calling, and before I could even get out what I was trying to say, the rude man hung up on me. This is some kind of joke. No professional would do that. I have the mind to call them back and ask to speak to a manager. Just for fun.
- Caller: Home Security
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Ali (update)I did just that. Called back and asked to speak to a manager. The representative, Sam, became INCREDIBLY flustered. Kept asking me why and what and where from I was calling. I simply told them that I needed to speak to a manager and not to a representative. They did not know what to say, but I persisted. Finally, they disconnected my call. Push back.
- Caller: FDS
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Jim LearyGot the same call. Simply said, "Not interested" and hung up on them. Usually if they persist, I start a graphic sexual conversation and they hang up on me (and I'm sure they flag me as being inappropriate.) They called me, not the other way around.
- Caller: FDS Home Security

- JTI'm from the Houston area, but I make it a point to never answer a number I don't know. What I will do once I learn the number is a scammer is enter the number in my contacts as Scammer or Telemarketer; I may even assign them numbers. That way, whenever they call back, I know EXACTLY who is calling me and don't have to fret about not answering the phone.
