They never say anything

I don't owe any outstanding bills so why would a debt collector be calling me?  I don't usually answer but did this time and when I said 'hello' I heard a recorded voice say 'hello' then nothing, the call went dead.  So much for being on a do not call list.

I don't this number, and I do not give busineses, or people other than family members the number they called.

This is bill collector trying to call for my son. If the call is not for you they want you to hang on the line (I have for up to 20 minutes then hung up) to be taken off the list.

This number called me late at night and early Sat morning. I ignored but it really bothers me. When I answer, there is no one.

I just got a call from this number and they immediately asked me to verify the last 4 digits of my SS#, when I said I would not verify anything with them and asked them who they were with they were with, they hung up.

these people have called MY JOB 6 to 8 times a day for the past month.  We don't even answer it anymore.

why would anyone answer...totally bogus and if not should be illeagal
