Phone rang. I let it go to the answering machine. The message was about 10 seconds of noise, as if someone pocket-dialed.

I got a similar call earlier today from 713-588-0821.

i keep getting calls from this number.  no messages left.  no one speaks when i pick up.
i've also gotten calls from 713-588-0821

Received call from 713-659-0304 but no answer.

I want this to stop I am on a do not call list

I got a phone call from 713-659-0304 at 12:00 pm today and leaving no message.
and 817-409-3353?

This number called twice in a row, no voicemail left, at 9:13am and 10:12am.  I have no idea who it is.  Blocking it with Mr. Number.

Keep getting calls from the 7136590304 and the 7135880821 number and some other 817 area codes and 214 and 317. I don't want them to call me its all day long.

They call I answered they immediately hang up its a Huston number land line southwest bell. They are using multiple lines to call, I call back and it immediately hangs up. STOP ALREADY DO NOT CALL AGAIN

This is a career / educational opportunities finder hotline. If you call the number back, you can hit option #2 and then input your phone number and supposedly you will be taken off of their calling list (within 24-48 hours they say).

Did not recognize the number and let it go to voicemail. Left no message.

I am getting phone calls from the same two numbers listed on the other persons post 713-659-0304 and 713-588-0821.  Both calls came today… This is the first time I have seen these numbers come up and no one ever leaves a message.I am deleting or blocking as well

Got call from 713-659-0304.  I answered but no one was on the line.  Called it back. Autorecording stating that if you are not interested in our career services to please press 1.  So we'll see if it works. I know all of our phones are on do not call registry, but obviously this list isn't working!

You just fell for a phishing scam where a robocall dials your number and hangs up within one or two rings, or stays connected but you hear nothing.

The thing is, calling back and pressing 1 gives the scammer a validation that your phone number is live, and you could be subject to calls and future attempts to scam you. Don't answer if they call again from this number, and for that matter, don't answer any unknown numbers. Definitely do NOT call back and don't press anything in response. All that does is set you up for future calls. Consider a call blocker if the calls get to be too much.

As for the Do Not Call registry, once you realize it does work -- for legitimate telemarketers, who will not call you -- you will realize that who is left to call are criminal scammers operating from overseas, calling from untraceable lines, and outside the jurisdiction of any US laws or regulations, including the DNC list.

I keep getting phone calls from this one number and they never leave a message and will call several times. I finally tried to call it back but it kept ringing on and on. No voice mail or disconnect of any kind, just kept ringing. I currently do not have the option to block these nuisance calls. Is there anything else that I can do to stop this annoyance?

a word of caution - if you press an option and input your phone number to be removed, yes it will be removed from that calling number but they will put your number on a call list that is "validated" as a working number and then two things will happen: (1) they call you from another phone line they use, and (2) they sell your number to another group of  folks as a valid, verified "lead" who will then begin calling you. The process keeps going. It is best to put in an FCC complaint on each phone number used to call you and then just block the  numbers as they come it. At the very least, this helps the FCC to identify spammers and spoofers and by just blocking the number from calling you back also prevents these people from continually selling your number to others. A bit inconvenient but it works; .just takes a bit of time until the calls stop.

Did not answer the call because did not recognize the number then they hung up.   If I recall correctly,  they have called before.

I get a phone call from 713-659-0304 at least once a day!  No call list does not work!
