I got a message saying it's the IRS and I need to call them as this is a time sensitive issue and I should try to avoid further action. The voice was all mumbly and the connection was all crackly and I find it hard to believe that they think anyone would fall for this! I'm ready to call her back just to tell her off. Ugh! Get a real job!

Said they were the IRS...urgent call.  That they would take action against me.   All mumbled and robotic.  Scammer!

Received a call and voice mail that you could tell was an automated message.  The voice said it was from Hada Gray from Internal Revenue.

as the rest of the calls, the caller stated that they were with the IRS and to avoid further action please contact them ASAP I DON'T THINK SO....

Is someone going to stop this. I received this call today.. with the same message every one else is getting. So how do we know if it's real?

I got the same thing...could barely the message because it was garbled.  The IRS will send you a LETTER before it will call you....sent this number to call blocking on my phone.

Phishing call threatening legal action by IRS if you didn't respond immediately.  Speaker identifies self as Nada or Hada Grey. Very flat voice with strange emphasis on words - suspect non-English speaker pronouncing script phonetically.  Scam.  This website confirms it by citing this number repeatedly.

Fake same as others. It's recorded message left om answering service. Blocked.

they keep calling and i called back from my office and spoke to them and told them that i am going to get the police and my attorney involved. it really caught me off guard for the first call as i was at work when it came through. they are very rude and i was asking the questions. Please dont give out any of your information. Be careful

Got a call on Saturday. It was a recorded message telling me that it was the IRS. I called it back and they have my name. The person clearly had a Eastern Indian Accent. I told him he was for of [***] and that I was reporting the number. "CLICK" He hung up.

From Kentucky and I have received several of these calls, first I wouldn't answer and they would leave a voicemail claiming to be officer gray or a different officer name..So me as a young 25 year old I call back and have my in laws listen, they said they tried to notify me by UPS on my doorstep 2 months ago (I laughed) I stayed on the phone for 10 minutes and then I finally said if I owe any money then send me something in the mail stating so and we will take action, and then CLICK they hung up. Then they proceeded to send a text msg with my name full name and address just not the city.. How can we report this number...There's two separate ones so far I have gotten over the last 4 days. I am changing my number, WATCH OUT IT'S ALL A SCAM---DON'T GIVE ANY INFORMATION!!!

I got a call from this number saying they were the internal review service and wanted me to call them back before they took "FUTHER ACTION AGAINST ME" I've called and called because I was scared that it was a true call and I didn't want action taken against me. But I didn't have any idea what they were talking about.

Thank you for this information.  That freaked me out a bit because they said they were from  the IRS.

You would get a letter in the mail first.  The only way they might call you is if you called them first but it may several weeks before they return your call.  The call you got was nothing more then a scam and probably came from overseas.
