I received a call from a Sophia Cruz from Legal Services informing me that they wanted to serve me papers for a Case #.  When I asked what it was regards to, she couldn't tell me since the file was sealed.  But I could contact 888-971-9948 for more information.  When I called that number, I spoke with a Daniel Cruz who informed me that this was an old debt from 2009 and it was a judgement filed against me and how I would like to settle the debt.  The account had been closed and there was a 4 year limit and they are collecting the debt and I had no time left to negotiate and I had to decide what to do.  I told him that I would have to speak to my husband first.  When my husband called him back and started to ask him questions about thier license to collect in NC and other questions, Daniel Cruz refused to answer the questions and was speaking and answering in circles, Mr. Cruz started getting mad and eventually hung up on my husband.
