another scam call about lowering your interest rate.  This is a totally new one.   They were "authroized" by my credit card company to call me in order to help me lower my credit card interest rate.  These calls go on and on and on.  I once called the FBI and talked to them about it.  They acted kind of put out that I had called them, because they already know about it.  But, then they -- the FBI -- tried to claim that these calls were mostly coming from Africa and other places out side of the US.  Well, no..........these people who call do not have anything other than an all american accent.  I dont guess anyone is every going to do anything about it, and it must be working...making money, because it goes on and on and on.

Some kind of survey company. It's out of area, so I did not pick up. Left a message about a one time offer.. definitely a scam!! Also, my caller ID said IEDD

The same thing happened to me today! I didn't listen to the whole scam, but she wanted to tell me about the lower credit card rates available for my card (right). I would like to know how they got my number though because I just updated my number on the do not call registry this week!

Received a call from this number on April 25, 2013 at 12:20pm but they did not leave a message and I did not answer it since I do not know this number.

A national survey on "devastating effects of cancer on immediate family" - you can return the call and add your name to the Do Not Call list (takes up to 72 hours).

There is no such thing as a "do not call list."  It is a Government Scam to create a "Spam me" list!  If you sign up on it, you will be called relentlessly forever.  I tried it twice over the past decade!  Only when I stopped, it improved.  Trick is, use caller ID and screen calls.  Never answer calls from 800 #'s or any number you do not recognize.  That will eventually get rid of them.. usually after one call.

They are calling my work number...which is a Federal Government Number.  Go figure.
