got a call from this number.. it beeped and hung up

correction  caller ID NVF

I have received several calls from this number, identified as NVF.  When answered, there is no one/nothing on the line.  But, the calls keep coming.

I have received over 5 calls from this number.  I have answered the calls twice.  The first time no one was on the other end.  The second time a woman answered and said, "Hello". She made no attempt to explain who she was or why she was calling.  She obviously did not know who I was. I advised her that I was on the Federal Do Not Call list, to remove my number from her list, and not to call again. She hung up without saying anything.

I get this phone number almost every day between 8 & 8:30 AM EST. I answer and no one answers back. This area code is Anaheim CA, I live in Pennsylvania. When I call back no one picks up.
