    They called my cell phone number, and it was an automated robo-call saying they had been trying to get a hold of me for my car warranty.

    My car is 15 years old, and I have not made any inquiries, ever, about warranty coverage. I called the number back and it went directly to a robo-message and identified the (scammers) "company" as "Auto Warranty Services" and said to press 1 to opt out of their database. I did not press 1 because I know that would just record/confirm my number as a working number.

    100% scam telemarketing call.

    I reported it to the FCC and the Do Not Call Registry.
