Scam artist attempting to get personal information through intimidation.

I got a call from this number this morning asking about an employee.  Refused to give out information, he asked why so secretive, said none of your business.  Went back and forth a couple of times, each time I refused, he got a bit more insistent.  Finally said I will get the information from some place else.  Said good luck with your search.  

Anastasia must work for the jerk, he's certainly not professional.  Tell who you are, what you're calling about, that would be professional.  I don't have time for the cat and mouse.  Grow up

this person called repeatedly when I didn't answer as this is my choice I picked up and hung up several times but he still called back  I answered and he said is there something wrong with your phone or are you just rude, Couldn't believe it.

Calls every week. Thinks I am afraid of him. I tell him, "your calling about a previously dismissed case". He says "prove it" I said "okay just call my attorney and he will tell you what you need to know". Before I can give him the attorneys name and contact information he says, "have him call me" and hangs up! This guy is very immature and very unprofessional. He must never collect any money with an attitude like that. Don't be bullied, don't pay him and don't trust him!!  

This man could not get me so he calls my son,tells him he has been doing business with me.That isn't professional it is rude to call someone on holidays.I think it is a scam.

This guy leaves the rudest message on my cell phone.  I have no idea who's  the individual he is leaving a message for.  My voicemail clearly states my name on the voicemail. It's obvious my name doesn't match the individual he is seeking which is a male. When returning the call to notify the company, they were extremely rude.  i will be putting a claim into the better business bureau this afternoon.  This company is not professional.

Alan Ryckman called and left a rude voice-mail on my cell phone for someone who is not me. My voice-mail clearly states who I am. When I called and requested to speak with him about that matter - he used her name and mentioned what it was about. Again, I am not that woman,  I'd be furious if he had done that about me. The secretary asked to take a message and so I told her what happened and repeated I wanted to speak with him about the matter. All she said was that they'd remove my number a day then hung up on me. Seriously?!?! That's how they operate? Debt collector or not, you should not leave a voice-mail like that on someone's phone who isn't even the person. And the way the secretary handled it was terrible.

This Eric Rykman calls me everyday! Very RUDE says he is from ARS??? Today he left a Message saying I don't have to call back bc he put in paperwork to verify my income...BBB will be hearing from me in the morning!! I was goin to call him back just to READ his a**! But he's not worth my time.

Atlantic Recovery Services could either be a close soundalike or outright alias of Western NY neighbor Atlantic Recovery Solutions LLC, also using the acronym "ARS", a/k/a ACS Recovery Services. The "Solutions" LLC in Amherst is known for several flavors of false threats, abusive conduct, and deceptive practice from the Buffalo Bully menu.

This is a bottom feeding debt buyer who ignores the FDCPA laws and calls to intimidate by saying he needs information in order to serve paper work or legal paperwork or some other legal jargon threatening a law suit, which is against the law.

The name he gave us Eric Rykman which is usually their "collector name" nor a real name.

Also said that he needs to verify employment or salary.

I think he may have called our car insurance company because they said someone called and asked information as if we were applying for a car loan.

Total harassment and intimidation tactics.

The company is "ARS" or Atlantic Recovery Solutions and they call from Buffalo which is known to have several scumbag debt buyers who ignore the law to try to lie and intimidate people to pay them some money today to avoid being sued today.

Do not provide them any information. None. Don't even verify your name or addresd or date if birth, nothing. If it were real, they have all that and they'd send a letter in the mail.

If they were going to sue you, they would and you'd have a note in your door.

Do not engage them in conversation or you will only get angry.

Feel free to tell them you're recording your conversation because that is what they'll say to you.

Put them in notice to no longer call you.

His guy Eric calls me repeatedly over and over even when I pick up and hang up then leaves messages on my phone such as "how ridiculous..." when I don't answer how can you make this stop it's awful and rude

You have all the info you need to ignore and block the caller.  That's the way to go.

Received a call from this number, someone by the name of Eric Rickman? Person they are calling does not match name they are even calling.

ARS collections uses illegal tactics, including calling your neighbors and friends if they think you owe money.  File a complaint with your state attorney general's office.

Very rude, stated I owed for a account I never had.....began to get angry and start yelling. I know my laws and what accounts I had/have so he won't be getting any money out of me.

I have been receiving the same call for weeks now and its the same guy you are all talking about , Eric. He leaves v-mail and he is calling the wrong person. He left a message saying, "this is ridiculous". Excuse man, I am not even the person you are looking for. I have blocked the number so I just let it go to vmail and he can leave all the vmail he wants because its not the person he is looking for.
