We got the exact same mage

I've never gotten a scam call before. How did they get my number and what other information do they have

received a call from this number. I did not pick up since I did not recognize the call. They left a message that they were from the IRS and that they needed to hear back from me or dire consequences would follow and that I should even consider having my lawyer call them. I have blocked the number on my phone.

Yeah, captain scumbag called me at work and left me that exact message. Called him back and said I was calling police and he proceeded to call me an effing [***]!! Really? You sit home and harass people for a living and I'm the [***]?!?! GET A  REAL JOB DUDE !!

i got the same thing! he said all of those things! i got out of my class just to listen to the voicemail. when i heard it, i freaked and immediately called back. he had a deep indian accent and it was so hard to hear him talking. i called back after he hung up, but he didn't answer afterwards. i wonder how these people got our information... it's so scary!

Adam Cox left a very threatening message, saying the IRS was going after me...he wanted to wish me luck if I did not return his call very soon.

This number left a message and told me that it was time sensitive for me to call them back. The name of the rep was Adam Scott. They also told me good luck. I have taken care of all of my taxes every year. It scarred me. I called back and the number is busy.
