got a threatening message about enforcement action by the US Treasury something about a federal criminal offense

I've received numerous calls from these idiots the past 24 hours. Always something along the line of "arrest warrant for five charges, call back immediately".

i got 2 calls yesterday and 1 today. Messages were arrest warrants
on 5  criminal charges. Today was same message, but also added "if i don't call then good luck".
I would have used "morons" instead of "idiots", but
finally decided both terms used together, would be better.
I going to block the number.

Said I would be arrested for tax reasons.

Received call and vm; sounds like a recorded voice saying something about arrest warrants and appearing before a magistrate.

That I was in trouble

Received 2 calls within 1 hour from this number, calling from Buffalo, NY.  It was a female voicemail/automated message stating the following message: "county sherrifs are going to arrest you for 5 criminal allegations.  So before this matter goes to the courthouse and you get arrested, kindly get back to us at (716)507-4027. - repeated the number again-.  Now if you don't return the call, then the only thing I can do is wish you good luck"

This is hilarious! Who falls for this and what are they trying to accomplish?  I received the same calls as above, two within an hour of each other. I love the "good luck" line. Classic!

Same message left on my wife's mobile phone.  Think I will report this number to our state's attorney general office.

I can't believe they think I'm that stupid if I were charged with a crime I would be arrested and have court documents served on me NOT receive a phone call!!!!!!!

Claimed to be the IRS claiming I was being arrested later in the day for tax evasion and tax fraud. Caller said his name was Officer James Mark badge # 15897 reporting to appropriate law enforcement!!

Same message as everyone else. Stating that I would be arrested if I don't contact them..SMH...First of all the IRS sends you letters, they don't call!!!

I have received the same phone calls as all of you. As you know, it is a group of fake callers and they are looking for that one guilable person to fall for there lies and tricks to scam you out of money. I would like to think that anyone who received this call knows better, but to anyone who doesn't; Do not believe the [***] they say and do not call them back!

Got a female voice saying the Federal Treasury had warrants out on me for ....no reason given.  They interrupted a nap.  I'm really p. o.'d about that !

IRS SCAM. Claiming to be Federal Agent which is a felony. Reporting to FBI and local police.

I got the same call ... mine was from an (automated voice) IRS agent and I will be arrested for 5 criminal charges tomorrow if I don't call.  Lets be real!  How stupid can a scammer be?  First, no telephone notification is given for criminal arrests.  Second, any problems with IRS is initially generated via a letter explaining the problem.  Third, if a government agency ... caller ID would show the government agency.  I'm in NV.  I wonder how these scammers get our phone numbers.
