This was a phone call stating it was in regards to a warrant in Hughes County SD, Civil Court warrant #116455 warning me if I did not respond to their call at 1-888-831-2032 ext. 171 within 24 hours they would have this warrant served on me. The person on the other end of the call that I returned was a man on the phone called himself John Edwards he claimed to be with Grand Nobles and Associates. and that a credit card holder was going to take me to court unless I allowed them to take $400.00 in 3 payments out of my checking account. He claimed that even though I was on Social Security Disability he said it was legal for him to take 47%. They had to withdraw the cash and talked me into giving them my bank account information. I traced the call and 716-507-8484 is a cell phone Type: Cell Phone Provider: Buffalo-lake Erie Wireless Systems Co., LlcLocation: Buffalo, NY

Never, NEVER give a debt collector your banking information over the phone! They will drain your banking account, leaving you with NO recourse!

Graham Noble has broken Section 807 of the FDCPA (Fair Debt Collection Practices Act), by threatening you with action that is illegal or which cannot be taken. They CANNOT threaten you with a warrant or tell you that it is "legal" for them to take 47% of your SSI payment. Disability payments are EXEMPT from garnishment!

You have been scammed by these crooks on an UNVALIDATED debt, which is another violation of FDCPA laws (Section 809, Validation of Debts).

You need to IMMEDIATELY do the following:

    1) File a police report with your local law enforcement,
    2) Call your bank and let them know you have been scammed. They should
handle the rest, which will include the reversal of Noble's false claim
and closing of your bank account. You will also need to alert your local
Social Security office that your banking account has been compromised.
    3) File fraud alerts with all three credit reporting agencies (Experian,
      Transunion and Equifax),
    4) Notify your State's Atttorney General's Office/and/or Office of Consumer
      affairs and the FBI,
    5) File a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission:
      https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/
    4) Go to your local Legal Aid Society for assistance in retaining
      an attorney, and:
    5) Send an e-mail to Bud Hibbs: cap@budhibbs.com. He may be able to
      provide you with some assistance.

Social Security monies are NOT touchable. File a complaint immediately with the attorney general and find a lawyer.
