Got a strange call from this number.

Got a call from this number a man claiming to be involved in a lawsuit against me.  I believe it is related to another collection agency that has attempted this approach before.

Funny that these folks are always involved in a lawsuit or they are going to summons you to a lawsuit for a debt. You are not allowed to threaten people this way regardless. Another strong-armed attempt by a collection agency to collect something.

I received a strange call from this number, asking me about someone I haven't seen or heard from in more than 10 years.  The caller relayed a long case number and said something about a summons being issued for this person if they didn't respond soon.

Caller gave me some song and dance about sueing me for some unknown credit card debt. Wanted me to make arrangements to pay it. Identified herself as 'Investigator' for some law firm. I believe its just another collection agency.

Caller calls and states that the person in question is related to my wife, which she isn't. Then goes on to state that there is a court order against this person and then pronounces the county completely wrong. Which throws a red flagg.

A woman called to my cell phone asked me do I know a person which I don't know. My phone is unlisted, so I would like to ask FTC to check this phone number.
