This number shows up in a Goggle search as belonging to Fidelis Care, a health insurance company, in a Buffalo, NY location. IT IS NOT FIDELIS CARE! Calling this number gives no answer. A voicemail message from this number was purportedly a Fidelis Care rep, "Danielle", who asked that I call her back at 1-800-247-5441, extension 142. This number resulted in a fog horn blast and the announcement, "You may have already won a cruise!", at which I hung up. I am a Fidelis Care customer and have reported the scam numbers to Fidelis Care. They are shocked and will be pursuing the fraudulent use of their name.

Young lady identifying herself as being from Fidelis said she needed to speak to ____________ again. She had been speaking with ______________ and his assistant several times. Advised no such person was listed in my directory. Swore up and down that the number she had dialed was his number and she must speak with _____________________ and to put her through. Advised not able to put her call through to someone who is not in my directory. Insisted she had the right number she'd been calling it all day.

Must have been an exasperating day for all parties involved.

The 716-564-3630 number is definitely Fidelis Care. I made a web inquiry regarding a denied claim on my child's insurance, and this was the number that called me back to manually approve the claim. Whenever I make a web inquiry, this is the number that responds when the situation cannot be handled via email.

I don't know about the 800 number you mentioned, but is it not possible that Danielle misspoke the number or that you heard it wrong?

Considering the fact that I haven't lived in New York for 10 years and have never had Fidelis Care, I find it amusing to say the least that I would get a call from them. Since I didn't answer the call and blocked the number immediately, the problem is solved. That was easy.

After three (attempted) calls in two days (my phone reports blocked callers' attempts), I called the number back tonight and it IS Fidelis Care in Amherst, New York. Apparently, they appear to have likely transposed one or more digits of a patient's phone number and reached me. I left a detailed message requesting removal from their database, and notified them that I have blocked their number in my phone.

Some person called saying their from Fidelis care to inquiry about my recent experience. I do not have any insurance through fidelis care. They asked for my address and social security number after which I hung up and blocked. Seemed very shady.
