This number actually called my aunt asking for me. I have never given out her number, and they said I had to call her back before some lawyer got to me first. Her name was Abby Nagel. Called back but no one answered

i got a call from this caller phone# 716-748-7159 and the person was abby nagel as well and she said she had a claim against me and that my lawyer has to call.. ??? i have no claim involved.

Received a call from Abbey Nagel.  She did not identify her company.  She left  a message stating she had received docs on my behalf and that she needed a statement from me or my lawyer...  I have no idea if this is a scam or not.  I did not return the call. It sounded suspicious and I am concerned about identity theft.

my mother received a call from these people and gave me the number. Person named abby nagel. She claimed to be working for Eastpoint Recovery Group. A "processing" firm for the real collector Brightwater Capital. Saying Brightwater has purchased my debt and they have other companies try to collect from them. She also stated that she called to see if i knew of this and to give me a chance to settle it before they "pursue me" for legal action. She said i had a couple of days to come up with the amount (1100$)

seems legit, but this collector is crafty for sure. They really want to put the scare in you,

Sad but true, they contacted me and after reading your complaints I wanted some clarification before I called and paid anyone anything.. I did in fact owe a debt to Brightwater Capital.. and although I did not care for the call placed to my mom house, my lawyer says unfortunately this "Abby" person is allowed to call so long as she doesn't divulge who she's calling for or what I owed... apparently they can call and law actually prevents them from identifying who their clients are .. my lawyer said that's supposed to save you from people knowing your business .. I don't think it's working .... they shouldn't be allowed to call your friends and family .. I mean I owed the money but do they have to take it that far? and for all that's said about illegal debt collection practices, it's what's legal for them that isn't cool

Sad but FALSE. Just another failed attempt to intimidate victims on the web, since sites like this make it so tough for you to intimidate them on the phone.

Got a very, very upbeat and cheerful voice mail from Abby Nagel but it was cut off before she gave much info, so I'm a little in the dark still. So glad sites like this exist.

I also got a very upbeat and cheerful voice mail from Abby Nagel.. Stating this is the contact number she had for (name) and she was asked to make a recommendation for (gave her name - which is husband's ex wife) and she needed to do so within a few days. To please return her call. Not sure, I have looked this up and some say its from a recovery service for a debit!

My ex got a call ,my ex inlaws, and my husband but never me???? If they have a issue with ME why are you calling my ex family ?I  never gave those numbers out, this is harassment pure and simple. Lady If you have a issue with me call me not my ex . dirty dirty dirty

they called me as a 2nd contact for My ex's ex. I asked if I was financially liable for anything, she chucked and said no and we hung up. Lol

Just received a call from this number and yeah samé bright cheery hello, they were looking to get in contact with my sister.I feel as though this is of the lowest, trifling way to try and contact someone and try to discredit them to their family ya know ,everybody doesn't tell their family all their business.What a money hungry  backwards world we live in.

Looks like this Abby one busy bee. I'm sure these people read these post. It would be in their own best interest. Hey Abby. I know my rights and I have no debt. Try someone else that was born yesterday.

first of all, this abby is calling from a collection agency, second of all this post is to everyone who gets these calls, to immediately report it to the Federal Trade Commission and BBB. The more complaints they get, their company will get investigated and from what I've seen in these posts is violating FDCPA LAWS!

Got a call today threatening Arrest iff I don't make the payments. I di but called and canceled my card account and have a new one. This has put much stresss on my heart

Got a call for a friend. She said maybe try to talk to his wife, (what??) I said no.

Sears got into trouble for doing that as they would call neighbors and relatives when trying to collect money from a debtor. It's illegal for them to do.
