Telemarketing scam selling magazine subscriptions.

No one there when you answer.  Yesterday I received 7 calls from various phone numbers where they don't leave a message or when you do answer there's no one there.  This is harrassment.  I filed complaints on all calls received yesterday.

Woman called saying she had special deal for 60 months of free magazines. I asked what the "charges" would be and she said there would be none. Then after finally choosing 5 magazines to be sent monthly for 60 months she says they cannot send them out for free because of "Agency Regulation", so the cost would be just .60 per magazine per month, so I agreed. Then, since she is "still relatively new" she had her supervisor get on the line and I wasn't paying close enough attention and think she said .60 per WEEK x 5 for a total of $3.00 per WEEK which would come to $156.00 per year x five years for a grand total of $780.00! So I will cancel!!!!!

Just had a call at the office, when I answered no one there, but the phone rang in my ear once then went dead.

So did you end up paying anything? and did they send someone to your business?

We have had our business phone lines called by 716 numbers. They are asking the name of the person who answers the phone then hanging up.

looks like not a lot of action from this number for awhile. caller said hello then hung up. id says 716 services
