Hung up when I answered on first ring.

Female voice.  Asked who they were speaking w/.  Told them they called a business and they hung up.

PHISHING ATTEMPT - DO NOT give them any information!

Female called, asked for my husband by name. Informed me that this was regarding "a magazine subscription" and asked for his direct contact information. When asked what the issue was, they said they had a "dividend to pay out" and that it was "the last day to release the funds". I asked again who she was calling from, and she said "676 Services". When I asked her to clarify what company that was, what magazine it involved, or provide any detail to verify that we had done business with them, she repeated the company name and got aggressive with me, threatening that the money couldn't be released if I did not provide them the information they needed.

Obviously a phishing attempt. I told her to keep the money.

Got a call at our business from 716 Services asking for my husband by his first name. I told the woman he was not in. She asked if he would be in later today. I said I didn't know he has no set hours. Her reply was must be nice I will call his cell phone. Im thinking oh ok like you have his cell. Well she did she called it 716-875-3777 showed up on caller ID. Didn't answer it. I called the number back and got a recording so I left a message telling them to stop calling we're on the Do Not Call list we have a business to run and don't have time to deal with these idiots that think everyone is gonna fall for their scam. My husband received a call about an hour later from a Blocked # he answered and  a woman proceeded to tell him that she was calling from an Attorney's Office that she was contacted about  a female calling and leaving a nasty message to stop calling. I'm pretty sure if an Attorney was trying to reach us they wouldn't block out their #.

TOTAL SCAM -  alleging I owe on some magazine subscription from 2012, THREATENING to have me arrested THREATENING to freeze my income.   ALL LEGALLY IMPOSSIBLE.
