Got a call from them this morning (10:40 am, 3/11/10).  Guy, called himself Bernard, claimed he was from American Energy Saving and would come by to clean our chimney on Saturday afternoon.  He was offering a discount: $49 instead of $100.  Unfortunately, he spoke with my elderly father who, though confused by the call, still managed to tell the guy no and asked for more info.  The guy hung up after my dad asked for his phone number.  I really hate scammers.  I'm reporting this guy.  I hope the rest of you do too.

I forgot to add that I don't even have a chimney!

This number has called everyday and Sunday too!  No message and they hang up.

Yeah the guy said something about CDC requiring chimneys to be cleaned and what not. I said I am not the home owner and I would have the owner call him back. Asked for the number and he said, "do you have a pen?" I said, "yes" and he hung up. weird

Can you please stop call everdays, I do not need your service!....

I found out which number was calling by dialing*69,  I got a call from that number on 3/16/2010 at about 7:30 pm.. a silent call, then what sounded like air, and then a dial tone.  Again, the next afternoon, 3/17/2010 at 5:21  pm.. same thing.. no one at the other end.  Maybe he did not want to speak to a woman???

Yeah since monday it keeps calling me, but didn't leave message, when I called back, it has fax tone, so weird. Hate the scams!

They not only call numerous times and never leave a message, they had the nerve to call my phone at 6:01 AM yesterday.  I sent an email to American Energy Savers to remove my phone # immediately.  Not only do I not have a chiminey, my number is listed on the Do Not Call Registry.

Another call today  3/18, from the same number. 7:01 pm.  No one spoke, then it hung up.
