I answered, they immediately hung up.  Caller ID is V + date + other numbers, a hallmark of credit scammers lately.  Probably using a spoofed number.

SCAM call -- message about furnace and dryer vent cleaning -- the same message comes from 100's of numbers.  BLOCKED

Called 11-19-18 at 5:05 p.m. CID showed Canon City CO. NO MESSAGE WAS LEFT. This leads us to the only conclusion we can make, it was a lousy CRIMINAL probably spoofing the CID and/or #.

(719) 285-6838 called the home phone yesterday (Nov 20).  Didn't leave a message - a clear indication of SPAM/SCAM.  Since they will change their fake caller id it is not worth blocking.

I didn't know the number and I didn't answer.  They left no message, so probably bad news.

Answered it. Male voice said I was harder to get ahold of than the last pickle in the bottom of the jar. Then said he was calling for the Colorado Policeman's Assoc, and wanted me to pledge money. My contribution would help widows and children of slain policeman. They would send the envelope. I replied I never give money to phone solicitors, never give out credit card numbers. He persisted in asking if I was comfortable with a $15 donation. I hung up.

Calls and leaves no message. I will not answer it. Blocked.

This number just called us on a Sunday afternoon! Did not leave a message. SPAM.
