Scam call supposedly from the IRS. "If you do not respond, the local cops will arrest you"

Spam caller. Left voicemail from robo-dialer.

I spoke to “officer Frank” is how the guy identify himself batch# 46319 with a case# IRM 350019USD WITH THE IRS LAWSUIT AGAINST ME FOR TAX EVASION

Total scam ....female robo call saying that the local cops will arrest me if i don't call back.  Do not engage, the IRS does not do this and they definitely do not refer to law enforcement as " the local cops".  Be smart, don't answer.

They left message you can't understand. Also had those tax evasion calls from other numbers. Can someone tell me what they gain for such a waste of time?

They manage to fool just enough people into paying that they keep doing it.

Yeah total scam, the IRS uses an actual collection agency, as well as all communication from the IRS is initiated by sending a letter via USPS..

I even called them and asked them to take my number off of their scam list and the "officer" said no. I asked him three times and told him I would report the phone number and he still said no

IR fraud call.

Female IRS ROBO scammer. Same message as old number. "Local cops" will handle this serious matter. Contact them immediately. So sick of this!!
