Collectors. They left a message on my machine. The guy acts as if he knows me personally.

Called several time to leave a message on my cell phone. The message is to Jennifer asking her to return his call to the 720 number. There is no Jennifer using my cell phone.  I don't respond.

Caller asks if I know a certain person who lives across the street from me. Callers name reported as Micheal Gilchrist.

Guy calls, very friendly, asking for one of my adult children who moved away several years ago.  Asks for a new phone # which I of course refuse to give him.  He basically tells me he'll keep calling until I give him a number.  WTF!

A woman has called twice asking for a specific person.  The first time I told her that she had the wrong number.  She pressed me for more info, which I could not/would not give her.  The second time she called, I recognized the number on caller ID.  I asked her the address of the person she was looking for and it did not match mine.  At that point I told her not to call my house again, since it was obviously a mistake.

Keep getting the call at work.. stating it is urgent to speak to me today ..no later than 4pm...No company name or what she wants.I called back and they said no one called my work # but if I gave my name and address they would track down the information...

calls acting like he knows the family. I asked what this is in reference to and he stated that since i was not listed on the information, he could not tell me. The thing is, he never asked my name. How does he know if i was listed or not. Total scammer.

I am so tired of these calls. They call my childrens phones as well. Why can they not leave us alone? They call all hours of the day and night!

Got my first call from them today...since we have no outstanding debts I didn't pick up and they didn't leave a message. I'm guessing it's a case of mistaken indentity. We had this happen with another collection agency who apparently just started calling random people with the same name as my husbands. I've done collections so they don't intimidate me, as hard as they tried to. The other agency wanted me to have my husband call back without telling me what it was in regard to. I told her that unless she told me what it was about he was not calling back. Then she finally caved and at first asked me the last 4 digits of my husbands SS number...yeah right, like I'm going to give that out. So then she tells me the last 4 digits of the person she's trying to track down and it was NOT the right number. These places need to find a professional PI to track down people instead of randomly calling people with matching names...give me a break!

Some foreign guy left a message I couldn't even understand.  Obviously I didn't respond. Thank goodness for caller ID.

Caller asks for child who has moved away several years ago. "Attempting to contact for quite awhile" Left message, asking to press 9 to speak directly to "diane jones". I did not reply.

"Attempting to contact for quite a while". Its always so funny when they say that (usually its a lie). As if I care about someone wasting their time every day looking for the wrong person.

Yeah. I've been attempting to win the lottery for quite a while. LOL
