Scammer trying to raise funds for a fake police association.

No message.

unknown number. not answered. no message. google annotated "scam likely".

Interestingly, I got this call on my cell phone which has a 719 (Colorado) area code and again, same voice, same message, on my landline here in Tucson. Both some kind of Fraternal Order of Police asking for donations. And ironically, I'm a civilian employee of our local police department...

Definitely a scam. Blocked from here on out.

Has to be a scam. Pc generated voicemail. And no message left. I often get these calls on this Colorado cell number. If not scam.....plane old telemarketing

Random computer call

This is a computer-generated scam intended to get you to say yes into the phone.
This number called me at 8:16 last night. I sent it to voicemail. On my voicemail, it left a recording that sounded like a real person. It stated that it was a police officer asking for donations. It paused to wait for my reply, and then asked "Can you hear me?" And hung up after waiting for me to say yes.
The news has talked a couple times about phone calls like this. They try to get you to say yes so that they can supposedly open a credit card on your name.

They call and leave no message but looking at other websites to identify them there are over 100 complaints against this number from December til now. Why won't major carriers block these numbers?

Checked number on computer. Apparently a scam call.

A Strong voice of a man called me and asked for donation for cops and firefighters around 8:30pm. I was worried if it's a scam so i said no twice and ended the call.

Didn't answer, no message. Phone said "UNKNOWN NAME." Hiya classified it as "Scam or Fraud." Third call in two days.

This number just called my business cell at 2025 MST, I didn't answer because 1.  I was on the line already and 2.  It's about 3.5 hours after my normal business hours.  No message left.  Now in my phone as "BS".  Reporting this number for the carriers to block is pointless because it's a spoofed number anyway.  The scammers will just program another random number into their systems to display on caller ID when they illegally spam robocall everyone.

This is a telemarketer for Sirius radio.
