No caller ID - no voice message - scam/fraud

Left auto msg about lower interest rates. Blocked

called. Left no message.

Called about lowering my interest rates and said to press 1 to speak with an agent. A woman came on with a thick, eastern European accent. She claimed to be from "Card Services". She asked if I still had a balance of over $3500 and was I interested in lowering my rate. I said yes. After she rambled on about how she works with over 200 of the largest banks, she asked for my credit card number. At this point I asked her for more information like a call back number so I could feel better about giving her my information. She became testy with me saying she's with all the banks and if I wasn't serious about lowering my interest rate she would move on. I gave her a partially made up credit card number. She then said I was playing games with her and wanted me to confirm the number I had just given her. I gave her the same number again. She then said the call was being recorded and she was going to have the credit card's legal department contact me as I was wasting her time. She then terminated the call. All told I wasted 7 minutes of her time.

Called my work cell# - I answered with my company name and they just hung up on me...SCAM caller for sure

I would think everyone would know better by now than to press any number (you could be connecting to another country for which you'd get the bill), & people don't do ROBO calls, unless they are scammers.  If you don't recognize the number, so what we (police) teach others to do.  Don't answer your phone.  If it's important (and it never is), they'll leave a message about your sick relative in another part of the world. The 725 area code belongs to Clark County in Nevada, USA

I received a call from this number today, I didn't answer it. Thanks for the information. Blocked and reported.
