From Tampa/ Clearwater Fla. area.

They left a voice message saying they were from Bio-genetics Laboratory and were responding to a medical inquiry that I made, but I did no such thing. The call was disguised as coming from a town 10-15 miles away, but this was the number they wanted me to return the call.

My answering machine recorded the identical recorded message over the period of several days, latest being today July 8, 2022.  Recording claimed it was from Biogenetics Lab replying to a medical inquiry I had made.  No-one here made such an inquiry.  Message also said I could call the number on my Caller ID (which must be different).  I do not have caller ID, so I could not see that.  I called and was told I was entitled to free genetics test if I have Medicare Part B.  I said I had no interest.  Person hung up quickly with no further comment.

They keep calling several times a day. I never contacted them

Identical experience as stated: Bio-Genetics Lab calling about an inquiry I made.  I've never contacted this lab so will block future calls and texts.

This number has been calling and finally I told them to get a grip and haven't had calls since. They will call for months about some bs test results.

Same issue.  Multiple calls per week all going straight to voicemail so no incoming call is registered.  It’s making it impossible to block them.  The vm tells you to call 727-314-6681.  Someone does answer the phone as biogenetics lab when you call.

They left a voice message saying they were from Bio-genetics Laboratory and were responding to a genetic testing enquiry that I made, I made no such request. They have called once a day and left a voicemail with requesting I call the number 727-314-6681 or what showed up on my caller ID which didn’t show a number. They originally sent me a text message about the same thing.

Message said they are calling me in regard to an inquiry I had made about Bio-genetics, which is BS. There should be a law (or policy) that after so many complaints the phone number of those liars is automatically disconnected. Law makers should work on this kind of law, not the crap they are trying to pass.

I have no relationship with this company. Here's the message they left:

So, could you please give us a call back? 727-314-6681 anyone here at the lab can help you? So, please just give us a call at 727-314-6681, or you can call the number on your caller ID, and that will route you to us. Thank you so much and have a great day.

Left two voice mails a few minutes apart but the phone never rang and they got past the call blocker, so they are using the software that tricks the telephone company and lets them go directly to voice mail without the phone ringing. My guess is that they are phishing for your Medicare number and personal details so that they can submit a bunch of false claims.

There is an HHS alert about this scam.

Exactly the same description for the call and text that other people reported before, in my case in Virginia.  I never requested the information the recorded message says I did.

The same experience as posted below. This 4th call from them. I tried calling left on my caller ID. Some unknown language with person who picked up phone to others in background. Then promptly hung up lolol NOW blocked.

I got a voicemail from Biogenetics Lab. They said I could call them back at 727-314-6681.  They said I had inquired about testing but I never did.  I blocked the number.

Same exact experience as above, bogus call.  I did not do an inquiry for medical test.  Another Florida scam outfit.

Same as the others. Caller ID shows local but request call to Florida. Never contacted them for anything.

They now spoof their caller ID # to make it look like a call from the same area code as my phone number, so their number changes with each call. I've been getting 4 to 5 calls a week for the past 2 months, I now let them go to voicemail.They have the exact prerecorded message saying that they are returning my call on my Biogenetics inquiry, they leave the 727-314-6618 as a call back number or I can also call the incoming number. So just blocking the inbound call number does no good, they'll just use another number.
