Message left: Caller stated that he would appreciate it if I could call him back about mailings.  No other info.  Looked up number, and Clearwater is Scientology HQ.

The Scientology HQ is located in Clearwater, but that doesn't mean they are the only business in Clearwater.

It's the cult Scientology.

Received call from (727) 467-5458.  The call was blocked by my phone service, so the caller hung up and immediately called again from (608) 371-6666.
My VM picked up the call and a woman left a message.  She said she was calling from The Church of Scientology Headquarters and wanted to confirm my phone number as belonging to a woman whose name I did not recognize.  (We've had this number for over 8 years.)  She requested that I return their call to let them know either way.   Of course, I have no intention of calling them back.

Thank you for the info. I'm receiving a letter almost weekly from Scientology in Portland, Oregon. I'm fed up with their lies -- "We see that you were active in Scientology at (a different location each time) and invite you to attend in Portland. We look forward to seeing you.". The closest I've ever been to Scientology is knowing how to spell it, how to avoid it, shredding their letters & blocking their calls (this is the third number blocked). I never answer calls from unfamiliar numbers, & Scientology never leaves a voicemail.

Received call at 9PM Sunday night!  I picked up phone because I have friends in Clearwater, FL.  They told me who they were!  Mugsy (above) is correct!  Scientology!  They said they were calling about a mailing list for my husband.  Say what?  They didn't even have my husband's name correct and we don't get any mail of this sort.  We have received many other Church of Scientology calls lately but from various other numbers.  Those other calls actually said "Church of Scienctology" on Caller ID, but came from the West Coast (namely California).  I don't know what the heck these people want but I blocked this call and all the previous ones.

Same thing.. called to confirm if  was the correct party, the one on their mailing list.... and please call either to advise yes or no.  Well, they can forget about it...I won't be calling back.  I don't need to be bothered. and it seems obvious to me they are just calling numbers to grab names and addresses to add to their mailing list and to, hopefully, recruit them to join up.  No thanks.

Scientology mai'g dept. I hv like 50 this Scientology phone #, nvr answered any unrecognized/not in my list calls, don't know why they kept calling. Onto the auto-reject+ mr. Numner blocked list app.

Jane, mailing dept of Church of Scientology, left message on my voicemail.  She actually used 803 900-3199 to call me -- then left this number (saying church of Sci, clearwater florida) for me to call back. No point to that. They don't *really* want to "correct her mailimg list" -- my requests and demands, to stop decades of unwanted calls, mean nothing. I have been blocking each # as it comes in -- endless.

Church of Scientology -- FLAG (a head quarters in Florida). Left no message. Called back, got a recording identifying i was calling "Flag." Called from a number that is identified as being in my state -- but it is originating in a completely different one. Tired of this kind of trickery. It's like the scammers who fake a local number to get you to pick up the call.
