Caller wanted to speak with "Operations Manager". When asked the purpose of the call she stated it was in regards to our "lobby music system". We don't have a "lobby music system" so I hung up. Oh how I wish I could block phone numbers on our business landline like I can my iphone!

My call was similar to the caller above.  The telemarketer asked for the Operations Manager and was also trying to sell me a lobby music system, claiming that they had obtained my company information through one of my approved vendors, of which I later learned that they had not obtained permission from the referenced vendor to call me.  The company name connected with this telephone number  did not match the company name that the telemarketer had provided.  They may, or may NOT be legit.

They claimed to be Sirrus Radio which they are not and want to speak to the GM or owner.  When I asked what this is in reference to they said our lobby music for the restaurant.  We are not a restaurant I told her so then she hung up.

The caller identified himself as Rich and said he was returning my call off his caller ID.  Asked for "the main" phone number for my office so he could look up our file.  The whole thing was made up...

Claims to be from a radio subscription company with the same name as my restaurant. I ask where they get my name from, they say from different resources. Crazy part is they called me by my nickname, even asking for me by my nickname. Sounds like a scam but i could be wrong.
