Call is from Air Rescue air conditioning company.  Wanted to do a seasonal tune up on my a/c unit.

No idea who the caller was, but they called my CELLPHONE!!! Lord, that is annoying.  Good thing I didn't answer it, or they would have received an earful!

called my phone on 5/5/09 at 1:55 EST.  did not answer.  called back - ring no answer.

Call - very friendly stating that it is time to set up the annual maintenace of my heating/cooling system.  I told them I had a new system and didn't need them and to quit calling me.  I have received several calls from them over the years. They promptly hung up.  I am reporting them to the "Do Not Call Registry."

This number called my land line and my cell phone number back to back. I did not answer and no meesage was left on either phone. No caller ID showed up, either.  The only places I have given both home and cell phone numbers to in Tampa-St. Petersburg area would be rental car companies and hotels when I have traveled there.  Maybe they sell our phone numbers to these sleazy telemarketers. No one else in FL would have my home number AND my cell phone number together. Does this sound plausible?

I live in Southern California and they called my cell phone (which is also a so cal prefix).  How/why would they call me if they are an a/c company in FL?

Yes, I live in another state FAR AWAY from Florida.  Why would these people be calling me to tune up an air conditioning unit?  Even though she asked for me by name, I told her "wrong number".  No offense, I'm over 1,300 miles from Florida, never been there, no business there.  Ridiculous.

This is a call center that hires out to do telemarketing for heating and a/c contractors. If they call you it is probably because you had service done by a provider in your area and that provider has contracted with these folks to try and drum up more business.

They called me and I live in Colorado. I never used a company like this. Dumb thing to waste my time with.

Just got a call from these people. Said they were One Hour Heating and Air. I asked if I'd ever done business. He said "yes". I asked what business I've done with them. He couldn't answer but said I was a preferred customer. This seems like a pretty clear violation of the Do Not Call list.

Don't use their services. I did and now my air conditioner works like @#$%! Plus, the guy tried to use some scare tactics on me about our electrical service. What do you know? A half hour after he left an electrical service van shows up and said that the previous guy said I wanted them to come out. I said NO and sent them packing. Made a complaint about the air conditioning and they never did anything about it.

These days I live by the creed that if I don't recognize the number I don't answer. If it's important, they will leave a message.

These people were hired to make outbound calls to customers of Pine One Hour Heating and A/C in Pine Island, MN. (and maybe for other businesses, I don't know) This is a call center in Florida that outbounds, trying to set up appointments for furnace or A/C preventative maintenance checkups. If they are calling you, it is because you have done business with them. And that does give them the right to call you even if you are on the DNC list. Here is the wording that applies to the DNC regulation for this type of call...

"There is an exception to the prohibition against calling an individual on the national DNC registry that allows calls to consumers with whom you have an established business relationship (EBR), but the period for which you can deem an established business relationship to exist is limited in duration to eighteen months from the date of the last payment or transaction with the company and/or three months from any inquiry or application. And, regardless of whether there is such a relationship, if the consumer asks to be placed on your internal, company-specific DNC list, you then lose the right to call the consumer, regardless of whether the consumer continues to do business with you. In other words, a DNC request trumps an established business relationship and prohibits marketing calls, even if the individual continues to have a established business relationship with you. The EBR would extend to affiliates, but only if the consumer would reasonably expect them to be included given the nature and type of goods or services offered and the identity of the affiliate. Again, what this means is that if you stay within this exception (and the other exceptions we note), you are not required to purchase the national DNC database and you don't have to scrub your call lists against it."

3/17/14 - 3rd call from scam using HVAC as caller ID.

Previous number used was: 727-581-6378 calling on 2/11/14 and 3/5/14.

I hear faint background noise after my answering machine msg and then call drops.

If the caller was legitimate they would leave a message.

Received a call today (9/2/14) from this number, which showed as "HVAC" on Caller ID.  We do belong to the One Hour Heating and Air Conditioning preferred customer club, but all calls to arrange for maintenance appts., etc. are made from their local office in our area.  Not sure WHY they would be using anyone in Florida to make calls on their behalf, when they have their own local staff???  

This comes up as HVAC, I have done business with a Benjamin Franklin HVAC company in my area....they are way overpriced and I actually did not allow them to do the job I needed help with...they prey on people who have unfortunate problems and want to charge excessive amounts "if we do it right now". Really dislike these people calling and calling. I block them but they continue to call again and again from different numbers. They never leave a message. This is a national calling/scheduling center for many HVAC companies...just really dislike how they operate. Once you get on their list, you may never get rid of them!
