They wanted to buy something I was selling.  Wanted to pay with a money gram more than what I was asking. the extra they wanted me to give to the mover, via a money gram.

well ain't that something.....i've just been contacted from the same number, same situation.

well they ask me to work for them guess they will send me a check and then get me to cash it and break me not happening i tryed to call it back go figure no ansewer

Same here, I had some furniture listed on Southeastexas com and the person text me wanting to buy. Said they would give me $50 extra and when I got the check and it cleared to text them, they would have movers pick it up. They said I was suppose to take out my $1450 and give the movers the rest, I asked them to call me but said they couldn't because they worked as an Oceanographer and was out at sea using internet. I told them this just sounded weird, asked were they were, they said Cal. but they were from a local town near me that they named and working in Cal, I was oh! That makes more sense!!! Sucker me believed them, glad the same thing happen to my sister and she told when I told her about this! Pisses me off.....
