Caller ID said New Brunswick and number 732-227-4990

Did not leave a message, I am guessing it is a telemarketer.

No Message Received.

It is a survey company following up on reason for customer recent voluntary disconnect from optimum/cablevision (i did recently cancel service - i moved and there was no cablevision offered in new location).  Not a scam, they did not even ask my name or anything personal.

Person called landline saying he had some political questions for me. The guy sounded screwed up on dope, frankly. Took REALLY long breaths . Told him to loose my number, as he took another REALLY long breath

Nothing on ID. No message left. Blocking.

Suspected Spam - Received unsolicited call out of area code!

Never, under ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, answer YES to ANY SOLICITORS QUESTIONING if your not confident that they are legit!
Often, they will record the calls and later EDIT them so it sounds like you are saying YES to whatever they offer!
In the end they can CHARGE your line a fee...
$5, $10, $50!!!
And then use your “Yes” as an agreement to charge your line!

Even if they ask, “Am I speaking with (your name)” NEVER say YES!!.... politely ask “Who is calling?” and then determine if you want to take the call.

Best thing to do is NEVER ANSWER calls where you don’t recognize the number...if it’s important they will leave you a message.

If they call your cell phone the quickest way to stop them from continuing to make harassing calls in the future is to block the number!
