Caller didn't leave a message

If I knew who they are I would sue them, claiming to be SSI, regarding social security and drivers license numbers call 3 - 4 times a day

They are claiming to be a telephone survey company called Survey Sampling International (SSI)?  Usually they claim to be be the Social Security Administration (SSA).

Received a call from this telephone number. No message was left. Anonymous callback reached a synthesized generic greeting saying that the office was closed, and, to call back between the hours of 9AM and 6PM eastern Monday to Friday. Whitepages.com indicate that this particular telephone number has been ported from landline service to a non-fixed VoIP service provider.

Called at 4AM! Started with an automated caller saying to hold the line and an operator would pick up which they did and after saying, “Hello?” half a dozen times they hung up. I keep my answering machine on 24/7 to avoid talking to these scammers. A legitimate company that you know would leave a response. You should only call the “real” company back using the phone number found in your telephone book or the company’s own website to verify the authenticity of the call.
