Call came in as lnp megapopnet.  Left a message for some dillon guy saying if they didn't get a call back before the end of day that they were taking action regarding identity theft.  After looking up this megapopnet thing.. I discovered it has been used by many numbers trying to extract information from unsuspecting people.  I fear they are trying to  obtain information illegally from people for what use I do not know, but suspect it is certainly unlawful.  The guy's name they left on the machine, is no one I have ever heard of before.

I received a call from this number today with a recording stating I am a person of interest in an important pre-legal matter.  My husband also received the same call.  I researched the number and there was no company name tied to this business.  I called our family lawyer and was informed that this is a scam.  Interesting that there are still people out there that think they can scam folks, but it still does happen all the time.  People, please beware of this number and do not give any information!

This is a scam. When calling back after saying i was a person of interest they asked for social security number to verify!! Who is that dumb anymore! Caution!!!!
