Got one this morning.  Came across on CID as Food For The Poor, which is a charity I've donated to before.  But if they're gonna start calling me day and night looking for donations, I'll never make that mistake again.  This number is now blacklisted on my call blocking device.

Caller ID reads "FoodForThePoor".  They leave no message.  Food for the Poor does do telemarketing (according to their website).

I call after hours (using *67 to block my number).  I hear "No routes found.  We're sorry your call can not be completed at this time.  Please, hang up and try your call again later."  Then it hangs up.

Interestingly enough, I received a call supposedly from the "U.S. Armed Forces Association" just 19 seconds earlier.  That group has a less than stellar reputation.  I'm betting it's the same folks using a different number and name.

So they don't seem to be able to be called back at all and seemed linked to a fishy organization.  Smells like a SCAM.

If you are inclined to give to Food for the Poor, check out their website and do it that way rather than through a telemarketing call.  That way 100% of your donation goes to them and not a scammer or at best a hired-gun telemarketer who annoys you and will take a likely substantial chunk of your donation.

I received a call from this number but when I picked up no one was there.

I answered and said nothing. It hung up.

They called me every day for almost a month.  Didn't answer for several days then picked up but I said nothing and hung up.  I blocked the call thru Verizon.  Next day they called from same area code, different number.  Blocked that one too.  They finally stopped.

Have been getting calls twice a day from this # for weeks. I never answer, but of course, interrupt whatever I am doing to see who's calling. People are saying it's Food for the Poor. Even if it is, which I doubt, I would NEVER respond to someone who calls me constantly.
