One night I decided to be nice, and respond to one of the post cards........spent hours going through the closets, packing very nice barely used clothing items....packed 'em all nice an neat for pickup.....got up for work the next day....box was still siting there.....WTF.....called them....they told me if their truck was filled, they were done..........until next time......3 yrs later, I still get the postcards and the phone calls....still have the same clothing in the box..........WTF

Called landline again. Left no message. CID displayed Greendrop, LLC. We NEVER answer ANY unsolicited call. I will choose what product, service or charity I deal will without the "help" of these robo and cold callers who want to, at best, profit from me, at worst, scam and victimize me. Area code VA. I live in NJ.

Any company that calls and does not leave a message is blocked. I do not trust unknown numbers if they wont leave a message.

Here's the real truth, all of you guessers! First I put this number into my PeopleByName account, and it came up with  "Purple Heart"  in 3 possible locations with the area code "757", a Virginia area code( googled that), two of them almost identical. Then I went to "CharityNavigator.org" ( the gold standard of rating charities, try it yourself, it is free) and entered "Purple Heart" in the "Search" box at top. Up came a listing of over 500 organizations with those words in the title. I narrowed it down by clicking on "Virginia" in the drop down on the left. Right away I located the exact real name of the organization and its address as on file with the IRS. The  REAL name of this "charity" is actually  " Military Order of the Purple Heart" ,located at either "4513b" or 4513c" Backlick Road, Springfield, VA . Charity Navigator does NOT rate it because this organization has NOT PROVIDED Charity Navigator with all of the necessary IRS forms. NOT A GOOD BET TO DONATE TO. By the way. this "charity" has over 11 million $$ in assets.

This is just another robo-calling fraud-scam number used by Greendrop LLC & a huge circle-jerking fraud ring of devil dogs, all using (757) numbers. They solicit donations, sales of various kinds of insurance, back braces & other items, which will not be fulfilled (but your credit card will be charged).  Greendrop LLC is not registered in Virginia & is likely just one of heir phony cover names. The entire situation with politicos, phony charities, telemarketers, surveys, causes, etc., etc., has gone beyond the realm of the absurd. However, they must be sucking a lot of people in, as it costs a lot of money to rent numbers/equipment/office space, pay salaries & commissions, for postage, and so forth. In Northern Virginia alone, we have at least five different phony charities soliciting for breast cancer research, all using (703) & (571) numbers, likely just more tie-lines.

Call came up as GREENDROP LLC.  Called back   And recording said Purple Heart Foundation. I have called the Purple Heart Foundation to donate clothes, household items.  I will NOT donate to anyone or organization that solicits on the phone.  Scam

Called landline again. Left no message. Called in June, August, October, and now December. Never left a message. We screen all calls. Any number not recognized we do not answer. CID Greendrop LLC. Area code Virginia. A legitimate caller will leave a message with their name, company name and valid call back number. Call ignored.

Called today with Caller ID saying "Norfolk VA". They said they were calling from Purple Heart. I donated multiple items from my Grandparents Estate last year, but when they would call about the pick-up being in my area the caller ID was local (215) and actually had Purple Heart on the ID. Seems like this one wants cash donations, not household items. If they are really Purple Heart you'd think they'd have that on the caller ID. Either way, I would NEVER donate anything over the phone. That's a great way of getting scammed since anyone can spoof a number and say they are from a charity! Will just be blocking it. If they are real they can call from the actual Purple Heart numbers...

I am tired of receiving calls every night from this number. How can I stop the calls?

A CRIMINAL ORGANIZATION posing as a charity to defraud the public and collect 80 percent of the value of anything they can bleed from a gullible public.  Reported to FTC as a CRIMINAL FRAUD.  Suggest all other potential victims do likewise
