Number call quite often leave no message. When you call the number back it is not a working number.  I blame the phone company because it’s a way of getting money. So sad people don’t have anything better to do with their time. I hope you have a terrible life You are a very unhappy person.

So, how does the phone company make money off of some criminal spoofing a number?

Gave me her name, not her company's name, and said she was calling on a recorded line. I immediately hung up.

Portfolio Recovery

One of hundreds of numbers Portfolio calls from. It does no good to block them, as they just turn around and call from another number...and another. As soon as the answering machine picks up, they hang up.

Number calls almost daily and does not leave a message. When you call the number back it is not a working number.

This caller is calling my elderly father multiple times weekly.  Why should the elderly man be subjected to phone spam.  This is ridiculousness and is a violation as he is constantly disturbed.  If you are an attorney and want business and have knowledge on how to go after and stop this company (Portfolio Recovery), I would love to hear from you.  The company has been blocked and yet called my father with 5 different phone numbers.

Portfolio can easily be stopped.  If you want to sue them you need to contact an attorney that is registered in your state to practice law.  Asking someone to contact you on the web is foolish since you have no idea who they are or what their qualifications may be.  I would suggest that you take the time to read my post here:    https://800notes.com/Phone.aspx/1-859-340-1606   As it details everything you need to know, what to do, how to do it and  where to find an attorney.
