Blocked at Google Voice.

Die, robocalls.

This number called our business today at 1217 hours.  Caller ID said "Cash Advantage."  The boss picked up the phone before I could and said "hello" a couple of times but there was no one.  I got on the phone, waited for some woman to finally come onto the line to ask for the owner of the business and then blew my emergency whistle into the receiver.  Do these idiot telemarketers/spammers/scammers think a business has nothing better to do than wait for them to finally pick up on a call THEY initiated?  

It was a computer generated voice - that's why. Hung up as soon as I called it out as just that, if you can do that to a computer. These scammers just set the calls up with a computer generated voice and only put a live person on if they manage to fool you. I wouldn't call them idiots. They are just looking to snag people who fall for it. They only have to be successful once to make money so I doubt they care if they bother a thousand of us looking for that one.
