Robo call about energy rates.

Left work early dt illness. Phone rang. Awakened! Phone on other side of room. An hour later got to the phone. The all important 760-206-7342#.
This is Harassment!! How is this # been allowed to exist for so long?

100% of caller IDs with city & state over the last three years were robocalls from telemarketers.

They were usually an off-shore telemarketer in India pretending to be a Canadian pharmacy. But there were many other telemarketers as well.

They change their phone number often which makes them difficult to block. Of course they change their caller ID as well.

This is the case with this telemarketer (at 760-206-7342). In October they used "June Lake CA." Now they are using "GO GREEN EDUCAT."

"This is an Emergency"...that is how this spam phone call starts.  They are selling solar!  Not a real person...a robot!

How do we stop these annoying, continuous robocalls from Go Green Educat? Can the phone company shut their numbers down? I get 3 or 4 calls per DAY! I even answered on the first ring and was hung up on??? A call back says the phone is temproarily not in service. STOP IT!!!!

I filed a complaint at donotcall.com for whatever good that will do....maybe if we all bombbard donotcall.com with complaints they may take notice and do something?

Ask to be removed and they hang up on you.

Unfortunately, the DoNotCall registry does not apply to offshore accounts (e.g. from India, Romania, Costa Rica, etc) who use virtually undetectable caller ID spoofing, which is explained by the FCC at this link.

Telemarketer, do not answer!

During working hours I have gotten calls from 760-206-7342 on my mobile phone.. The call starts with a pre-recorded message, at the end you can select to talk to a rep. After the 3rd/4th time I did speak to an agent and asked to placed on DO-NOT-CALL list. The agent was arrogant and said I needed to ask "nice". And also said that the company is "Go Green" and that they enjoy being exempt from goverment regulations regarding unwanted calls. I still get calls from them.

Called on my ATT landline. Caller ID said "Electricity". Didn't recognize the number so didn't answer. Caller left no message.

I am a communications technician and I drive all over Southern California.  I advise everyone to never answer these calls and block them immediately.  It is highly probable that the persons calling hackers trolling or monitoring cell towers GSM frequencies with equipment available on the internet to anyone. I only say this because either by coincidence or by design I seem to receive the calls the same day or within a day of being in the area code the calls come from.  There is something more sinister to these calls in my opinion based on my 30 years as a curious tech geek.

It is likely that these are highly organized criminals collecting and confirming information used to validate stolen bank and credit card information.   Who ever they are they only want information about you!

Same old solar sales pitch scam.  Now they are calling themselves Clean Planet.  Criminals, the whole bunch of them.

Clean Planet, solar spam calls. I hate these people.
