BEWARE of cold-calls soliciting for "charity". A lot, perhaps most of these are outright scams.

Don't answer unrecognized #'s.  No message left.  WCF is a known charity scam.  # now blocked.  Thanks to all who post here!  Saves me a lot of grief.

Several different numbers, but one source WCF (Women's Cancer Fund).  No messages left.  Other charities leave messages, so I think SCAM!

CID says WFC for Women's Cancer Fund.  Suspicious for scam.  Blocked.

Got a call yesterday from WCF 831-244-9964 and blocked it, today they try from a different number. blocked now. Wonder what number they will use tomorrow?

I'm not the only one who's caught on that these jerks use different numbers for their WCF scams!  Please do NOT fall for their BS!  Ignore their calls and block them if you can!

Caller ID'd as "WCF," goes to answering machine leaves no message.  Also get calls ID'd as "WCF" from 831-244-9964.  In Dec., 2018, was getting calls identified as "WCF" FROM 760-585-3215 and 831-244-9935.  Evolving phone number use is enough to make me suspicious, outside of the fact no messages are left.

I finally blocked their 831-244-9964 number. The very next day, a Saturday when I can sleep in, they call again at 8:03 AM from a different number: WCF all over again, this time from 760-206-7403. Both these numbers are in Southern California. I'm going to block them if they call again, but I have a feeling a new number will pop up to bother me. They're scammers who pretend they're a cancer charity, but they're just scammers. I wish I knew who to report them to. Anyone out there knows who can stop them?

Calls at least twice a week, sometimes before 8 a.m. Sometimes a different number (831-244-9964) but always “WCF” in caller ID. Never leaves a message. I blocked both, but we’ll see if they spoof another number.
  A Google search for “reporting telephone  scams” yielded this information from “USA.gov”:
   Report caller ID spoofing to the Federal Communications Commission either online (https://consumercomplaints.fcc.gov/hc/en-us) or by phone at 1-888-225-5322. Note that there are DIFFERENT FCC phone numbers to report different types of calls. Please report all your calls! The only way we’re going to stop spoofers and scammers is reporting them and letting the FCC do its job. The more complaints they get on one number, the more likely they will launch an investigation. Please do it!

This is just one of MANY numbers this scam uses.  They say they are soliciting for the Women's Cancer Fund.
This is a scam which should not be donated to.  I have blocked at least 8 numbers that they use.

Charity scammers that use DOZENS of fake numbers. Block all of them

I have blocked multiple numbers from these clowns. The humor comes from my phone's attempt to pronounce "WCF".

I've received 3 calls from this "cancer group". First call came in on Feb 15th under the number 760-206-7403. They asked for a donation of course and wanted me to pay over the phone but I said no, send me your info packet. Of course I was going to check once it arrived to see how legit this org was but... nothing came in the mail. Then yesterday at 7pm I got a call from this number... 813-244-9966. When I answered, no one said anything so I hung up. Then just now I got a call from the 1St number. She said it had been about a month, more like 2 wks, lol, since I agreed to give a donation. I went on to tell her that nothing came to me in the mail. She of course said "well we can take care of that and not have you waiting for the donation packet by just having me use my debit card. I told her "No, that's not something I'll do" but since she continued to talk over me, I just hung up. After hanging up I realized that I had seen those 3 letters, WCF, appear on my caller ID last night and thought... "hmmm, two different numbers, something isn't right" so I decided to do a check and came across this site. SO glad I did and now, I'm praying they have the guts to call me back. Because when they do, they're going to regret having done so. But I do have a question. How do you go about blocking a call? Thanks for any help anyone can give.... I HATE SCAMMERS!!!

Caller ID says "WCF".  Left no message.  This is the fourth different number I've seen for this caller ID.

New AI voice robot asks for "sandra" then says "maybe you can help me".

Robo scam.

Called  my phone left no message  blocked caller  but my phone  showed  suspected  spam it should  be confirmed  scam
