told me that i had a loan that was generated online with Check and Go from an email that has been deactivated for over 2 years. said this loan was taken out in 2011. then when you try to contact the number back and no answer.

This guy calls repeatedly.  Heavy foreign accent (Indian?), named Pete or Tom.  Says I me or my attorney must contact them to settle an outstanding loan.  The calls started when I (foolishly) applied for a payday loan but never went through with.  Did some research and found this to be a HUGE scam, affecting thousands.  My advice is don't answer the calls, and if it continues more than twice, report it.

Got a call at work from someone said his name was Pete and that it was urgent I return his call.  Everytime I get one of these call I always google it and these people are scammers so I just don't return the call although they continue to call.  I know there has got to be a way to make them stop.

These guys have been calling me for years and I can't make them stop please if any one has info on these guys I would love to stop them And they bounce phone numbers around the country , last time it was in Florida , today California .it's also a cell. Number which I'm sure is untraceable.

threatening call with claims gave money deposited loan in account also threatend to take to court. I contacted the bank no record of deposit at all. I do not owe this company any money. How do I stop them?

I just got a call from this number that said I took out a payday loan and they were trying to collect due to non payment when I told him I did not take out a loan and no money had been deposited into my account and I wanted proof of the transfer. He said I don't have to prove anything I will see you in court or you can give me a account number and we can settle this right now. What a scam I reported him to the federal commissions department who said this is nothing but a scam..

I got a call from this same Indian guy from 2 different phone numbers.  He left a few messages saying the same thing that I have an outstaning debt, that he is with the Attorney General, and if I dont pay him all he can do is pray for me.  I have reported this to the Police and the Federal Trade Commision.
I also put this number into the do not call registery.  I will no longer answer calls from numbers I do not know.

I just received 2 calls from a man named " Jim Harrison". He left voicemails since I do not answer calls from numbers that I do not know. He said he was calling because I have had a claim placed against my social security number and that I needed to contact him at 760-269-4213 immediately to get it cleared up. I have reported this scam to the FTC. Hopefully it wont be to long and these scumbags will be stopped.

Yep they keep calling me and telling me that I took out a $100.00 payday loan, I asked them to prove to me that I signed for this loan, and they told me it was done on line.  I called the payday loan company and they said even if you took out a loan on line you still have to come sign the papers there in their office.  I told them they had already taken money out of my account with out my authorization and that I reported them to the law.  They took out almost $300.00 before I caught what they were doing.  The would take out amounts like $30.00 or $32.00 dollars and unless I really pay attention , you would just think it was a gas purchase or something.  When I caught it I then called the bank and put a stop payment on them taking any more money from me and called the law on them.  Then I get a call from an attorney that tells me he is a good guy and wants to help me out.  So I send him all the proof that they took this money from me, and he claims I wont here from them again, Opps, starting calling me again, so I tried to get in touch with the Atty. Office and guess what, number is no longer in service, So now they keep calling my cell and my work number, cant get rid of them.  What can we do, how can we all get together and stop theses A**holes from calling and even when you talk to them they wont shut up so you can get in a word, they just want to keep telling you (you owe us and you need to pay up) or your going to jail.  Hope they catch these bast****.  I am really tried of answering these phone calls, and if you dont they just keep calling and leaving their messages that you can even understand, oh and then they called an said they were Trident Financial sent them paperwork also.  HELP STOP THIS SCAM
