i get at least two calls a day from this number.  My caller id says it is located in Ramona, CA

I do too. Anyone who this is?

I get a few calls a day too. Called back and says number is disconnected. Wierd.

It's SPOOFED, that's why you get the "disconnected or not-in-service" recording.  Crooks, scammers, and adolescents with too much time on their hands spoof their number.  Block it.

The guy on the phone said he was sending out requested material for college testing for my daughter. needed my visa card number to secure the program material. the amount he wanted to charge me was $216.32 after a 30 day "study session." He did give me a call back number ( 888-611-8941) when I told him I didn't have my card on hand. This 760-870-9092 number is disconnected.

Receikved hang up in voicemail.  Number blocked.

Called at 6 pm saying exact same thing as previous reporter.  About materials for college  classes for my daughter. Help with s.a.t. i believe not sure tv was loud at first,  2 cds would be charged after 30 days $216.32.  Then asked for my card number.  I said "uh no ive been thru that crap before" and  they hung up on me.  Not another word said.   What bothers me most, they had my address and my daughter name and obviously my cell phone number.  I tried to call the number back and i get a ring, a pause, another ring sound  something answers. 3 beeps and hangs up.  I didnt get the name or anything at first tv was up and didnt ask for a repeat.  Oops.   Idk if its scammers or what.  I think if it was legit they wouldnt of hung up like that.
