when picked up they said something then hung up right away.

Calls me 3-5 times per week and nobody response. I called the number back and it's listed as "HBW Leads" offering comparison on auto insurance. I pressed 1 to speak to someone and it hung up.

Called numerous times a week, Auto Insurance Telemarketing. If you call back and press "option 3" it's supposed to put you on the "Do Not Call List".

Several calls from this Allstate telemarketer.  They don't stop even after telling them to put me on their do not call list.

ANI Name is "HBW" - a company that sells auto insurance leads to insurance companies.  our answering service customers got a total of 28 calls from them in late May 2014. I think was robocallers or bad predictive dialer or maybe they just were calling and hanging up after verifying valid phone numbers for future telemarketing projects.

These thugs harass me several times per week, sometimes daily, and I can't take it. Why are they allowed to use the telephone as a weapon with no consequences?

Call blocker might be of some help.  Also don't pick up on numbers you do not recognize, or where there are caller IDs that seem odd.  Or where there is no caller ID.

This number calls my work number frequently. I never answer...have no clue who they are.

Called trying to sell [***] enlargement medicine. I told them i already have a large one and she said yeah right. I said look out your window you see that radio tower. She's like yes I'm like that isn't a radio tower that is my one eyed monster.

Left no voice mail, they have changed the caller ID to read, "CAMBRIDGE, MN." They are evil, but they are simpletons.
